Careful with the sliders it comes with, if your bolts arent alligned correctly you can easily strip the slider while tightening the nuts since it is aluminum and the bolt is hardened steel

The clamps look kind of like a C shape with rubber in the middle, so they do not damage the bars. They dont fit perfectly on the bars, and if you are doing it over the bed you will have one clamp around the thicker part of the bar and the other clamp around the thinner extended part of the bar...
