It seems to power on with unlocking the doors but I have to assume that it is timed to turn off after the doors are locked because I could still see it powered on immediately after locking the doors.
I have an Escort Redline Ci 360c installed on my R1S. The install was done by 503 Motoring in Beaverton. The controller is just to the right of where the steering wheel comes through the dash and the display is mounted over the rear view mirror. I can post pics tomorrow when there is light.
Given there is a power connection there for charging the speaker, it would be nice if there were USB-C's available in the storage drawer. It looks pretty basic.
Considering that Tire Rack carries Michelin and these are the only 22" tires from Michelin that they show that will work on an R1S, I would check that load rating again...
I got a Weistec discount code for 5% off after putting the sliders in my cart and not checking out. It was enough for me to pull the trigger. My brother-in-law has a set that he is very happy with on his R1S.
Discount code for 5% off = ABD5
Yes, but the running board can move into the lower body panels since it isn’t designed to do anything but stand on when getting in. The attachment point of the running boards isn’t the problem, it’s the strength of the running board.
If you think you are going to hit your running board on anything you shouldn’t be getting a running board because it isn’t designed for that. The intent of a slider is to protect the rocker panels just as much as sliding across a rock. A typical running board is only designed to hold the weight...
I had 503 Motoring in Beaverton do paint correction, PPF, chrome delete, ceramic coating (inside/outside/wheels), tint, and also an Escort Redline Ci 360c radar detector. They also did the same thing on my brother-in-law’s R1S minus the radar detector but in matte PPF.
When I picked mine up they said they planned on doing service out of the downtown location. I don’t know if those plans have changed in the last 2 months.
