    I’m hoping Rivian is working with enphase to bring v2h. We’ve had our enphase solar, and battery backup almost a year. We have used the backup a few times here in South Texas. Would love to tap that 135kw battery in the R1S. I wish they’d provide more details on the delay to 2025.

  9. Can R1S drive with liftgate open?

    I can confirm that the R1S will drive with the tailgate open. Our upper tailgate is currently broken. Upon its last closing it didn’t close all the way about, it is about 1/2” from being fully closed. We have a service appointment in two weeks, but for now, no rear access other than crawling...

    Notified to confirm out config, 12/13/22. Less than a week later, ready for Delivery email received. Completed steps 7 and 8. Delivery set for Saturday Christmas Eve! R1S LE Green, Forest Green.

    Couldn’t agree more. We had our first mile on Friday. Charlie was awesome, we got to spend plenty of time with the R1S. Looking forward to getting ours, even though the email stating the delay came about 2hrs after our drive, it didn’t bum us out, as the vehicle is solid, and exactly what we need.
