Hey! I have a super annoying buzzing and rattling noise in my driver's side seatbelt adjuster too. Did you mean B pillar? The one right near your left ear? That noise is driving me nuts. Did yours come back? Did you get it resolved?
I have a rattling / buzzing noise that sounds like it is coming from the driver's side B pillar, near the seatbelt height adjuster. I took it for service, they heard the noise, kept the car for 4 days and said they fixed a loose clip or something. Well the noise is still there, the same or worse...
There was certainly a Rivian person there to deliver the vehicle to me, but it was not my guide that I had been dealing with via email (probably in another state). I forgot mention that the alignment was so bad the vehicle pulled very strongly to the left and the steering wheel was at least 15...
My Range Rover Sport has a button you can leave on so every time you park the vehicle lowers the air suspension for easier egress/ingress. I cannot find such an option on my R1T. Does it exist, and where? If not, I think it should be part of a future OTA update.
Got my VIN 10 days ago on a Friday, R1T. Monday guide calls. Says car in Normal being inspected. I ask for status update Wednesday, car is in Chicago being inspected. Crickets till just before 5pm today, day 10 from VIN. Ready to schedule delivery email. Step 8 unlocked. NO DELIVERY APPOINTMENTS...
Congrats. I am still waiting (with great frustration) for Step 8 to open, or for a call from the SC in Chicago. They've had it a week as of tomorrow if the Guide is correct. Odd how ICE dealers can PDI dozens of vehicles a day coming off a carrier, but Rivian needs weeks to inspect far fewer...
When I got my VIN and guide she said it’s too late to pick up in Normal. Since I didn’t have a guide till that day I’m not sure how I could have asked sooner.
I’ve been told my R1T got to Chicago around Tuesday 8/27 and I’m waiting for a call or text to schedule delivery. Guide has no information except it’s being inspected. Hope it’s soon, this waiting is harder than before I had a VIN, knowing it’s sitting like 20 mins from my house!!!
Was it 2 weeks before you heard from the Chicago delivery team or did you hear from them soon after getting your VIN and the first appointment was 2 weeks out?
Did they give you any updates along the way or did you only learn that after getting contacted to schedule delivery? How did you learn about the broken piece to begin with?
Well I finally got my VIN Friday and spoke to the guide. Was told my R1T was done with assembly and being inspected in Normal. On Wednesday I learned the car made it to Chicago. For those who took delivery in Chicago, how long was the wait for you? I’m hoping to get a call or text that I can...
It's interesting how so many people paid for their vehicle during the 8-step process before the vehicle was actually ready to schedule delivery. I was told (cautioned actually) by both the insurance guy at Rivian as well as my guide that I probably do not want to pay for the vehicle until they...
Just to clarify, I got a VIN slightly under 12800 on 9/23, but not actual delivery of the vehicle. I was told 0-8 weeks earlier today, LOL. I am near Chicago, so not far from Normal, so hoping 0-8 weeks means this Friday!!! :)
Considering that I see Amazon delivery vans from Rivian all over my area, this seems like ok progress for end of Q3. But another 12k in 3 months seems like a tough goal.
