The 3 piece system covers NEARLY everything. There are still gaps between each seat since they can fold down independently, and there is an āoverlap/gapā at the lip where the 3rd row folds down. If you lift the trunk board into the incline position, everything lines up nicely. Iām overall happy...
I used to listen to music (Spotify) with the kids at 3 also in the R1S. Since receiving the October update (yesterday), we now had to turn the volume up also to 6-7. With the new update, they mentioned that they were making adjustments to the 'Elevation Sound System.'
Yep, I ordered the @LinerX mats at the beginning of Oct also. Got a shipping label creation notification about a week later. Still waiting. Was told this week, after contacting them for a second time that the cargo liner should be ready to ship in 5-7 daysā¦same thing it said when I ordered...
I took delivery of my R1S less than a week ago and have zero issues. The one button control actually works from farther away than my clicker used to. Open and close the garage door at least 4 times a day with errands and kid duties.
Put in the biggest line your main panel, garage, and charger will support, AND that you can afford. If you aren't concerned with the overnight speed of the charging, you can always reduce the amperage and charge slower.
Thanks! Sorry for the confusion, I didnāt mean for you to untape, I was curious how close your tape overlap was to hack point. Iāll take a look at the template also.
How is the set-up holding up? Did you orient the "hook" up under the dash leather or down behind the wood? Is either the wood or leather lifting? This seems like a nice clean system, especially if you don't need charging. Thanks
I currently charge an Ioniq 5 and Model Y using a Grizzl-e Classic charger plugged into a NEMA 14-50. Just use the adapter when charging the Tesla, works perfectly for us. When we get our R1S, plan to still maintain the same set-up.
We are a two EV household, Tesla MY Long Range and an Ioniq 5. When our R1S is available, we will most likely will give up the Tesla as my wife likes the seats in the Ioniq better. Both have their benefits and both have suited our family of 4 +dog just fine. We use one Grizzl-e charger and...
We are a two EV house (Model Y and Ioniq 5) and we charge both off a Grizzl-e plugged into a NEMA 14-50. Your charging need is going to be controlled by how much each vehicle is driven. One of our cars is a commuter and gets plugged in at night. The other is only used for errands and school...
This is very interesting. I have my wifeās Ioniq 5 back at the Hyundai dealership to troubleshoot a charging issue at home also. We are using a Grizzle 14-50 plug in charger. Worked fine from April until November, then stopped charging. The kicker, the Tesla still charges on it without issue...
Great looking console organizer! I have just about all of your posts bookmarked for when I finally get my R1. Curious, is there a way to remove the Camp Speaker without removing the whole insert? Haven't had the chance to see the speaker in person yet, so not sure of the "clearance"...
How did you achieve the corner? Looks great. Iāve never tried anything like this, so tips are appreciated. I have a long time to plan, but always worth collecting tips.
How does the height of getting into the back of the R1S compare to that of say a Tesla MY (or M3 if similar) or the Audi for a dog(s) to enter and exit?
I donāt have my R1S yet, but with myTesla I use my phone as my primary key and carry one of the cards in my wallet as a backup. For a valet, I just give them the key card. I plan to do the same with the Rivian when I get it.
Throwing this out for all the R1 owners out there. Does anyone have a 3rd party app they use to monitor or track charging history and costs? Iām a long way away from getting my R1S, but never too early to learn a tracking software.
I currently use Optiwatt for my Tesla MY, but never got it to...
