Living vicariously through you guys because other financial responsibilities postponed my Rivian ownership and I gave up my reservation early last year. Excited for you to get your deliveries!
When I lived in Seattle I had all my vehicles tinted at the Bellevue location of Midnight Window Tint...
Has been posted in a couple other threads. We even got referenced in the Jalopnik article because of it :CWL: It's funny the mentioned us as the source instead of The Drive's original article.

If you mean my comment about the seatbelt, I was referring to the unused hardware on the passenger side. I wouldn't expect it to be there (in blue). The R1T is opposite the R1S - R1T middle seatbelt is on passenger side, R1S is on the driver side.
I definitely think you're onto something.. there's a strange amount of symmetry at the plastic covers where the seats appear to pivot. Looks similar to what is in my Grand Cherokee, but are way more visible in the footwell area. Maybe the second row will be able to slide forward/backward in...
Article from The Drive describing Rivian's patent for a removable bed-mounted (maybe gear tunnel?) battery pack. Would expect a pretty hefty price if its ever produced...

Heated and ventilated seats are called out in the Launch Edition and Adventure package, with the Explorer package only having heated seats.
I was concerned after seeing nothing about a heated steering wheel... Per Emma from chat support, all Rivians will have heated steering wheels. Woohoo!
Nice attention to detail catching that. Sure looks like a speaker grille.. I don't think I've seen one with contrast coloring from the A-pillar.
The other object is probably a suction cup mount.
Like others have mentioned previously, the configurator is likely being held back by supply chain constraints or waiting to see what their competitors reveal. They've had dozens of new supply chain postings in the past two months.
We saw a slight change in diction with pricing around the time...
** Sorry in advance for the Episode 6 spoiler **
When the hydraulic accumulator reservoir broke off :oops:
I'm a little worried about the placement of the rear reservoir after seeing this happen. It seems pretty vulnerable to rocks and other debris being forward of the rear LCA. I'm...
I was surprised to see how cleverly outfitted their Cullinan was last year. It makes a lot more sense to have all the dangling interior wires while trying to install some of the equipment.. Mostly the black power switch between the Terra trip and calculator.
Excited to hear some of the first...
MFR Plate #132...
EDIT:
After a little Googling it looks like that is definitely an Illinois MFR plate, but there's no way to know what number the Rivians started at. If this was one of the first pre-production units off the line, it could help gauge how many others are out on the road!
Edit: ohmman beat me to it.
Good catch! The 7-pin is on the left hand side of the hitch, you can see 3 of the 4 silver bolts holding it in place.
It also has surrounding indents where it looks like a plastic cover will conceal the hitch.
Has anyone else run across this article? It popped up in my news feed last week.

Adding to this thread because it is lawsuit related, but also relevant to the Long Way Up thread.
I don't have a strong opinion about the article, just wanted to...
I'm seeing one way flights from Denver into Bloomington International (BMI) for $140. Looked at a couple other major cities across the country and had relatively comparable flight costs if you can get to a major airport. I would definitely go this route instead of trying to fly into Chicago and...
Interesting timing of this topic.. :like:
Just last night I was planning what the return trip to Denver would look like. I do not currently own an EV and my reservation is for the 135 kWh. Would be an awesome experience to tour the factory.
Used the PlugShare app to map out the route for...
Why would they be pushing new expansion projects if they had space available in the factory?
Don't forget the R1T/R1S aren't their only products under development. Who knows how many other undisclosed projects could be taking place concurrently. We haven't seen any Amazon van updates in a...
