Ok. I'll bite. Anyone in Pocatello, Idaho want to switch their stock 20" wheels & tires for my sick custom (or stock 21") setup for what will probably take a month to schedule and get to the nearest SC (180 miles away.) Thanks in advance.
These are the stock 20" size tires. I have not experienced any rubbing at any height, however, I don't drive in the lowest setting a ton. The wheels came with tires mounted and arrived in less than a week.
They incorporate that, but in my case with values based on the 21" wheels/tires. I now have much heavier wheels/tires with greater rolling resistance. And that's precisely why I wanted to get them calibrated, for more accurate range estimation.
The size of the tire is not the issue here. It's the significant increase in weight and rolling resistance. And 275/60R20 is the same outer diameter as 275/55R21 at approximately 33"s.
The speedometer is actually more accurate according to my GPS. The 275/65R20's are 34" versus the 275/55R21's at 33".
My main concern is range estimates. I have a 140 mile commute. 70 to and from, and each has been taking WELL over 100 miles of range. The weight is one factor. My setup is about...
