That's great news! It does sound like a lot of people are having success with a proper road force balance. There's mention in other posts of the tolerance on the road force being below a certain number due to the noted steering sensitivity of our cars.
Since starting this thread I’ve had my steering wheel replaced, as well as other suspension components - both half shafts, both front struts and the front support arm.
With all of these changes and the tires having been rebalanced by discount, it has been a considerable improvement. I’m...
From 22 to 20 it was about 5% for me when I first switched. Biggest difference would be going to the 21 wheels, probably 8-10% depending on how aggressive tread was on the 20s. The range 22 seem to give nearly the same benefit as the 21s if I understand correctly.
Thank you, much appreciated. I originally had 22” sport brights but I really like the look and function of the new 22” range wheels. Will stay on the lookout.
Looking to swap my existing 20" brights with the OEM Pirellis for a set of 22" range wheels with tires. I have a set of 4 with about 18K miles and a 5th tire only as a spare. I don't have the exact tread rating, but they likely have another 5K on them or more. As seen in the pictures, one of the...
No they did not charge me. We tried over the air updates and it corrected the range but didn’t successfully change anything in the car menu. I then took it to the SC for some other work and they updated the firmware, which finally changed the in-car information. However, I already had the new...
That’s so strange!
My truck has the correct vehicle information and pictures for the new 20” wheels, but the mobile app never changed with it. It still shows pictures and vehicle information for the 22” wheels in the description.
Unfortunately tried all reset levels on the truck, and logged in and out of the app, reinstalled the app, unpaired and re-paired my phone with the truck, and still no change.
I tried searching for this and couldn’t find anything, or maybe I wasn’t using the right keywords…
Does anyone have experience changing the Rivian app to reflect a switch from the 22 inch wheels and tires to the 20 inch brights?
Rivian was able to make the firmware update show up on the car...
Had the same issue on rear right window and the RIDE calibration setting is the only thing that worked. Incredible! Have been living with the mobile app showing the window open for months. Thanks Electrified Outdoors for the great video walkthrough and suggestion!
