This thread got me thinking so I just chatted with Rivian, as I have a quad motor Max Pack on order as well. The advisor told me that quad / max is still in plans, but it's not coming any time soon. He also confirmed that my 2020 pricing will remain intact if I switch to dual motor version.

I don't think they live in Kamloops, LMD I think. He did mention that his company had done some work for Rivian, but they've had a reservation for quite some time as well (3+ years), so who knows......but I think this is a non-employee delivery.
