Spent less than two hours this morning getting 2 new 12 volt batteries and a thorough check-up for my 2022 R1T at Fort Wayne.
Fort Wayne only worked on Amazon vans until recently when they opened up service for R1T and R1S. For my Rivian, previous service came out of Chicago, then Grand...
I read this last weekend and tried it right away, did seem to make a difference.

2022 RIT with less than 4000 miles so far, like to dumb it down a little.
Glass roof delete, just a solid roof
Sliding rear window
2-way manual tailgate
Under bed storage space (Ridgelinesque)
The first 3800 miles have been trouble free, just a little too fancy and way too hot in the summer.
Your replies and advice are appreciated. I have ordered a set from Amazon and will decide whether I care about the logo once installed. I just didn't see the value in the authentic Rivian center caps for $100. Thanks.
You are right, repair times and costs would be a hurdle for the active pursuit type of departments. Rivian would have to make a commitment to the police concept if it were to succeed. As many R1's that we see totaled here on the forum Rivian will have to make progress in the repair arena over...
Many of the small towns in our area are applying for the Energy Efficiency and Conservation Block Grant Program. In our town the police department plans on purchasing 2 Teslas and 1 Ford Lightning and will be reimbursed by the grant for all 3 vehicles 100%. I exchanged some emails with the...
After 7 months and a whopping 285 total miles driven, CarPlay would have been #1. Now that spring/summer heat has arrived, a solid roof would be great. Having a difficult time with all the A/C fan noise after parking outside.
Seller sold me the original 21" spare tire/wheel, received today in excellent condition. Just giving props to the seller for providing quick shipping and doing what he said!
Just did a Rivian chat. Flipped off the breaker for a few minutes, then back on, did a reset on the vehicle and all is well. Charger had been offline, and although it isn't necessary to be online to charge, apparently it helps.
Same as above. Charging at home since November immediate connection and green light when plugging in. Today, white light for a little while, then red. Says "Vehicle Error" on phone app.
Nothing technical here, just my observations. I have 67 miles on my R1T in 6 weeks of ownership, from week 2 (after an update) it started losing roughly 6% per day sitting in my garage. I charged 3 times from the wall charger and actually only drove 50 miles (17 when delivered). Good news is...
Hood was down, indicator was consistent when parked or driving. Have been using the phone app, thought I might try the fob or see if there's a way to get it to work properly. But then again, why? I shouldn't have to diagnose. An O-T-A fix would be great, they wanted me to drive to the the SC...
