I had the stock Pirelli All Terrain Plus 275/65R20s. They were three years old and 20k miles. I didn't hate the Pirellis. Actually very good all around traction in mixed conditions. Wet weather handling dropped off and noise increased significantly after about 15k miles despite even wear...
I was debating the same two choices but went with the Ion HT last Friday. I have no data other than I find the sidewall to be firmer than the stock Pirelli, which is a plus for me. I chose the Ion HT because I wanted a more road/highway oriented tire. The 126H Defenders on my Sprinter are a...
I was one of the special trucks (July 2023 QM with Merdian / 24XXX Vin) that had the delayed 27.01 update. I eventually got it, and the 35.01 shortly thereafter. Funny thing is that the music EQ screen is now Elevation! No longer says Meridian and I lost the soundstage slider. Anyone else...
Thanks for explaining.
I installed the 2024.27.01 today. Like a few others reported, I had to do a full system reset to restore functionality of the high speakers.
My vehicle is similar to yours, July 2023 QM with Merdian / 24XXX VIN, and I received the same call. I posted the following voicemail message in this thread: https://www.rivianforums.com/forum/threads/vin-specific-hold-on-2024-27-x-update.31726/
"[Hola Pedro]. Good evening, my name is Hussein...
I got the call from the Service Center today (Aug 16, 2024) that 2024.27 will not be pushed to my vehicle, but I will have a free, continued subscription for the current poor audio through the end of 2024. I have a Gen 1 QM R1T, delivered July 2023, VIN 024XXX, Meridian audio. A semi-edited...
I'm so glad you got it in without damage! I have zero regrets having bought 4-5 flat pry bars over the years. See you in/around Manteca (I'm in North Bay but occasionally work in the area).

First I removed the seatbelt anchors. Then I used two or three flat, long pry bars to deflect the front trim away from the box, using the box as a fulcrum. It took a lot of leverage and my strength. While I got the sub box in without damaging the truck, I suspect it would be much more...
Add me to the long list of those unhappy with SSF service. In November I booked an appointment for Jan 9 for 3 items: (1) check for overcharged refrigerant; (2) leaking CV joint; and (3) leaking gear tunnel seal. Regional service call center told me mobile service was not an options but it...
Yes, I converted the stock woofer speaker wire directly into the sub inputs using a speaker wire-to- RCA adapter. No LOC. A little adjustment of the sub's input sensitivity was necessary. This JL sub seems quite flexible.
I have a Meridian system, and the stock sub is fed by a single speaker...
HF Badlands jack. The extension post without the pad is a good fit. I'm hoping someone starts making a pad adapter that slides into the HF post. This shop makes similar adapters but all of the pads are too wide. https://www.911motorsports.net/Jack-Extension-Trail-Jack_c_33.html
Thanks for the tip. Soft reset fixed my audio problems too!
Vetmobile, a soft reset of the infotainment system requires holding both of the outer buttons on the steering wheel for @15 seconds. Takes a few minutes to reboot the software.
Seeing how much extra space I have with one 12, I believe two 12s would fit in a custom box. One 12 is more than enough for me though; it really fills out the Meridian system. I don't need more bass, but I do plan to upgrade the stock dash mids and A pillar tweeters.
