liftgate

Proximity feature question on 2025 gen2 R1S. As I walk up to the car and the door unlocks and the driver handle presents. but as I go to press the mechanical button under the hood or trunk to open the liftgate or frunk it does not work/respond. Is this normal behavior? Thank you.

Help! My husband was unloading my R1S and set a piece to my daughter’s baby gate on the lift gate here on the right side and it slid under the carpet piece that is jointed and fell into the car. Is there any way to get this out? Not so much worried about the piece as we are it messing something...
