I'm reading lots of stuff about suspension noises and jounce lines/cv joints/dampers/etc. Wondering if anyone knows the likely cause of this clunk when going over humps at lowish speeds? Seems to be a little louder when my foot isn't on the accelerator. Thank you!

One week into owning our new 2025 R1S (took delivery late May), the right side leaned. I finally measured on level ground, at different ride heights, etc. and right side was consistently lower by half to 3/4 inches on both right hand side wheels. Service Center has confirmed this is an issue...
Upon accelerating and decelerating, you can hear the suspension make spring noises. If you are on desktop, lower bass to hear it. It's loud enough that a person 100 feet away can tell it's coming from my vehicle.
Two SC visits and the sound still persists. I've dropped over 4400 on new front lower control arms and a rear damper. This post isn't geared at my frustration but rather has anyone else had this issue / sound and got it resolved? See videos.

Newbie here. I just purchased a used 2023 R1T DM Performance Max battery model! lol, that's a mouthful ?. I love so many things about this truck - 0 to 60 in 3.5 secs with 410 miles range and 11,000 lbs towing - I can't ask for anything more; however, I have one gripe - I hear mild rattling...
Hello people ?
Recently took delivery of R1S. About a month and half in to the ownership.
Lately started observing loud noise when ride height changes to higher or lower. Have so far observed during hold position only but prior never heard the loud creaking noise when the car was in hold and...
2024 R1T Quad with 900 mile on it. I'm curious if anyone might know what's causing this sound. It only occurs when I accelerate from a stop or very occasionally when I'm accelerating from low speed (5mph or lower). It doesn't occur every time so it's intermittent. It is also a single "ping" or...
R1S Launch edition owner with currently 14 K miles . Took delivery in 3/2023 .
We love our truck and drive it in Vermont and Quebec where we have poor roads and real winter conditions. This has been the best vehicle that we have ever owned for winter driving conditions.
About a month ago my...
Hi all,
I found couple of threads discussing similar issue but none had a video to verify if the problem is the same. When on high setting, my r1t makes a grinding sound when accelerating.
I dropped it off and the service center is saying this is normal. But I have a loaner, an R1t with the...
Anyone else have issues with what sounds like a loose suspension or something, I’m having some very loud noises and a rough ride coming from the front right wheel area. Brand new R1T with only 1500 miles. I’ve already submitted the service ticket and have an appointment in February but man this...
I tried out stiff suspension today for the first time and felt my R1S pulling to the right.
Flipped it back and forth a few times, and noticed alignment feels perfect on soft but pulls to the right on stiff.
Has anyone had experience with alignment issues that only appear on changing suspension...
During an interview on an off-road podcast, the owner of 74Weld talked about wanting to develop a portal for Rivian, but the interest hasn't been enough to move forward. He went as far as talking to Rivian about offering a factory install offer.
How amazing would it be to get a 3-inch lift and...
Hey All,
I’ve noticed over the past few months my suspension / drivetrain has progressively gotten noisier. I’ve developed the notorious knock, as well as some other mystery noises.
Back in the fall, I had the service center look at the truck and inform me the sounds were normal / “in spec.”...
Seeking input in how the Rivian air suspension feels/sounds off roading (washboards, chunky fire roads, etc) versus say a Toyota Tacoma SR5.
So far the Rivian suspension doesn’t seem as solid. Makes more noise and sounds kinda loose. Whereas the Tacoma just seems rock solid going over the...
I went to Venice to check out the R1T and crawled under to look at the suspension and underbody. A couple of concerns popped up. One was that the plate under much of the body was a thin carbon fiber plate (likely backed by metal). I’d be concerned about damaging the (likely expensive) plate on...
YT channel TFLnow conducted separate interviews with RJ and Charles Sanderson, VP of Vehicle Integration and Development, during the private event recently held in Denver, CO. Of the topics discussed was a big one, IMO and I'm sure others, servicing. Still lacking specifics but RJ and Charles...
