That’s good to hear. I drive to Yakima and Kennewick a few times a year and usually stop in The Dalles or Hood River to Supercharge on the way. The stop is typically for about 20 minutes to ”top up” then on my way. I’m hoping that will be similar with EA. Other than that, I drive to Bend and Seattle every other month as well. Doing it in the Tesla is so easy and comfortable. I hope it will be the same in the R1t. Otherwise, I’m very excited to be able to go off the beaten path on the R1t like never before.
Make sure you check plugshare. I haven't yet done the route down the bend, and there isn't a ton ofportions from here to there. I'm sure it will be fine, but better to cover your bases.

Happy Holidays all! Enjoying the camp speaker but not camping just trying it out. Here are some specs :)

Are you able to share a picture of your manufacturer label? I’m just i’m just curious what your Payload rating is? Is your R1T with off-road package? Thank you and Merry Christmas ?

???

neat! Can you play audio from the truck’s stereo through the Bluetooth speaker, or does it only work with external devices?

I’m quite looking forward to it, it looks/feels nicer than other Bluetooth speakers we’ve had.

it might live in the house more than the truck!

Thanks, my sister lives there and has a 240 V outlet in her garage just waiting for me. As long as I can get there, lol

You should be totally fine. The chargers on the way look pretty reliable. Have fun!

Elon said it best at the Plaid reveal.. EVs need to be the very best car.. period.. to sell. They can't do just one thing well which is why they set out to ensure the Plaid could check every box humanly possible because they need to make the best *car* to get people in the seats.
Elon says all kinds of $H!T. If he truly believed this then that would mean he believes the average consumer wants a yoke steering wheel.
I happen to have a 19 cup holder Ascent and my wife and I typically use 2 each and sometimes 3. Adventures entail what we call an Alpine start which entails coffee on the go and plenty of hydration on the way to the hike/ kayak/ ski and a water for the ride home on top of what we have packed in our day bags. I contend plenty of cupholders is perfectly on brand for doing "truck things". That being said I'm sure the R1T will meet our cup holder requirements if not I guess I'll have to tow the Ascent along to store all my new MIIR water bottles.

*EDIT. My apologies for this cupholder post. At the time I hadn't read through this thread... Even I can recognize they're just cup holders.
Thanks to @Iwantatesla you have been very generous with your time.

Take a few trips to chick fil a and stock up on their drink holders. Then stop by Costco and grab a cardboard box. Toss the drink holders in the cardboard box and stick that down in between the front seats. Slap a sticker of the Ascent on the side if the cardboard box and you're good to go.

I was obviously joking with this. But I bet someone could make a few bucks off of a 3D printed drink holder that sits snugly in the footwell tray.... or at least selling the 3D plans for people to print.

LOL. I think what I’m going to do is find a center console that fits with the empty floor in the front. I did something similar with my first Model S.

I have a feeling that if WeatherTech or another popular vendor doesn't provide a bunch of custom-fitted accessories shortly after deliveries ramp up, they'll pop up on Amazon within a year. Maybe Mr. Bezos will be the first to try them out. Hopefully, he comes back here to post some pics and shares his thoughts. He's probably lurking here now, or maybe checking the Delivery Window thread...

Ever wonder what name he goes by here? ?
