I have a couple of complaints with the 10.30 update. 1st - the phone icon has disappeared! Yes, of course, I can say "Alexa dial..." and I can initiate calls from my phone. But I can no longer use the icon to browse call logs, contacts, etc. 2nd - Alexa... The "Ding" when she acknowledges me is deafening; however, her voice once she starts responding is so soft / quiet I can barely hear her. I've tried using the volume knob, when she is speaking, to adjust her volume but it has no effect. What am I doing wrong? Or, is this what everyone is seeing? Thanks,

Sleep/soft/hard reset and it will fix itself.
I've done a soft reset (to fix a camera issue the other day), and nothing changed. I'll try a hard reset to see if it helps.

It would be great to know if a hard reset includes a soft reset or if they're resetting different modules.

Page 409 (chevy big block) in the manual
soft is software restart
hard is vehicle restart
EDIT - doesn't indicate if the hard includes the soft but would assume so
EDIT - like a computer on/off button restart

That was the first thing that I did, alas I no longer have a Phone icon! Do you? Do others?
I sure do still have it. What happens if you go into one of the other upper tray items? I know there was a bug a while back where the last used icon sometimes went missing.

There is a bug where Alexa's voice volume is tied to the media volume.

Is Bluetooth on? Is your phone paired with Bluetooth? And do you allow it access to your contacts? You may need to cycle all of those settings.
Bluetooth was on (for the both the truck and the phone), and the phone was paired. None of the icons were incorrectly mapped to the phone. It has been this way since I installed 10.30 on 4/9. A soft reset had no affect on things.

However, this morning I did the hard reset and it restored the phone icon! Thank you all for suggesting it. Still, not something a software update should be doing to vehicles.

My volume issues with Alexa still persist.
