Delivery was Tuesday for us. Outlet and 2 magnets in the frunk.

I am wondering if they had different frunk liners for the different trim levels (Adventure and Explorer). The lower Explorer didn't have the outlet, but since they discontinued that trim, they had all these frunk liners to use up. So they got installed and some of us unlucky ones didn't get the 12V outlet.

12v is in my LE R1S frunk, vin 39xx. The delivery guy said I was lucky to have it, but I don’t think he has any insight into whether it’s back for good.

I think this does come down to the frunk liner you end up getting while the vehicle is being manufactured.

All things being equal I wonder if one liner is superior to the other...absent the obvious receptacle and magnets...
