2022 Rivian R1T - $83,000
This is the most amazing vehicle I have ever owned. It does so many things very well and is a blast to drive. It has a lot of storage, tows great, and is crazy fast.
I ordered the Rivian SUV about four years ago. When I found out they were building the Trucks first I ordered this truck. I received this truck last fall and then a couple months later in December the SUV came. I’ve kept them both for as long as I can justify it. One needs to go and my wife is not letting go of hers.
This truck has never been off-roading but I have spent a couple days in Moab with a Rivian and they are extremely capable.
This is From Rivian’s website and is spot on. “Drive through 3+ feet of water. Rock crawl a 100% grade. Traverse just about any terrain with 14.9 inches of ground clearance. Tow up to 11,000 lbs. With a 0–60 mph time as quick as 3 seconds, it also delivers the on-road handling of a sports car.”
If you need to tow an RV across the country on a weekly basis, then this is probably not the vehicle for you. But if you want to tow your dump trailer every once in a while, or take your boat to the lake every weekend. This is perfect.
