33" highway tires on 20s?

Has anyone done this yet or have any ideas of this would get the same range as the 21s? Or do those aero caps really make that much of a difference in range?

The aero caps don’t make that big of a difference. It’s negligible.

I went looking for more efficient 33" highway tires for the 20" rims - and either they don't have a high enough load rating for the Rivian, or they're discontinued. Still on the hunt.

(I really want one set of efficient highway tires for towing plus the second set for offroad/snow. Preferably with the offroad tires on a set of cheaper/don't-care-if-they-get-scratched-up rims.)

If you can get it calibrated to a 275/55/R20 (32" tire) there are a lot of options there that exceed original load/speed ratings.

Load hasn't seemed to be the issue in the tires I've seen at 33" size, but if you get a tire shop that balks about going to a lower speed rating (albeit one higher than this truck is limited to) there aren't so many options.
