Why hasn’t Rivian shown this prior to shipping it out to Utah? They should have released proper photos (in good light) so everyone can see it clearly. Their communications often seem half assed.

They just released a good video on storage space in the R1T, would have been good to have had this a while back too.

Some photos professionally taken would be better than this one. They could have launched the color rather than just let it trickle out. Most of us have not seen the trucks in person so photos are all we have to assess the colors.

Kinda depends on the white balance of the phone, etc.

Either way this doesn’t look super great. Even nardo grey can go baby blue in the wrong light, if this has more blue pigment in it or less red then it’s gonna do it more often, especially considering there doesn’t look to be any pearl or flake to break it up.

Hopefully some better photos prove me wrong but the flop doesn’t look promising!

?? Are you saying having photos is useless? Photos and videos have provided us information on all the other colors so a selection could be made. Why trickle this one out?

Not useless, no. just not always accurate. It’s not an either/or thing. There are (Pun fully intended) shades of grey.

seeing it in person is the best way to get an accurate representation for your own eyeballs.
