I've noticed that a couple of my cargo rails seem to be coming a little bit loose on my truck after having the tent and awning on it for a couple months. Anyone take them apart to try to adjust the strength of the attachment points? All I can find in the manual is suggesting Rivian service do it, and I'd rather do it myself instead.

I'm also debating putting something on the crossbar to make it more rigid since I think the looseness of the two halves is probably contributing to wear at the attachment points. The sliding bars was a cool idea but if I'm never moving them to another place it's pretty pointless.

Pull off the rubber covers on the feet. Turn the allen screw on the right (looking from end) a very small amount (1/8 turn or less typically), test fitment and adjust as needed.

Not sure if this is what you mean, but I put some silicon tape on top of the attachment and it is thick enough where there are no rattles or looseness and keeps the attachment from getting all scratched up.
