Hey all. New (very happy) owner here. Anybody found a way to make Alexa work in Quebec? Tried setting language to English (both Canadian and US) to no avail. Looks like it’s blocked From Quebec-delivered cars somehow and in fairness, Rivian did say in the original announcement it wouldn’t work here but I’m still wondering if anyone found a workaround. Thanks!

Pourquoi? Home Alexa speaks French so I'm not sure why car Alexa would not. Not sure that helps with what you're looking for. Might be best to contact Rivian.

Yep. I know. It does speak French, and Canadian French for that matter. However, the Rivian launch announcement for Quebec specifically stipulated Alexa was ‘available in English only’ and ‘not available in Quebec’. So I know it’s their official position, just wondering if there’s a workaround. I would have thought simply selecting English for the UI would have worked but apparently not.

Trust me you are not missing much....I used alexa for a few times when we first got the rivian but for the last few months it is better to use "Hey google" for my anrdoid or siri if you use apple. Commands through alexa is cool (e.g. Alex, open the trunk) though
