The disastrous scenario. Your Rivian 12 volt “motorcycle” battery poops out on a back road near Numb Knut, North Dakota. Unfortunately, you don’t have a TORX 20 bit in your pocket (insert inappropriate joke here) to remove the wheel well cover and access the manual frunk release and implement your emergency jumper battery pack.
This is the original cable release position when you are groping around after peeling away the wheel well cover.
I drilled a one inch access hole in the fender well.
I relocated the pull cable near the wheel well with a one inch nylon access plug cover from Ace Hardware.
You pop out the the nylon “plug” with a pocket knife to access the cable without disassembling the wheel well.

Then you have access to the 12 volt battery jumper terminal located under the front panel. Not in the manual for some reason.

I did the same access cover for the manual charging plug release. One inch hole and a nylon plug. No need to remove the entire cover to grab the cable loop.

There was a pictograph “Easter Egg” on the inside of the frunk from someone on the production line. Made me smile.
