Leasing Model 3 until R3X comes out, but now I have an R2 reservation as well.
Not available in the US market anyway.
Oh! I thought the EV3 was cancelled for the US market, not the EV5. I guess it’s the other way around. I bet Kia will cancel the EV3 too with all of this out-of-control tariff nonsense. We also need different naming schemes already. 😵💫

I guess it’ll just be competition in the Canadian and European markets then. Some might think this protectionism will be a good thing for Rivian, but I always thought competition was a good thing breeding innovation and lower prices for consumers. Not to mention that the automobile industry is really a global industry. For example, the R2’s 4695 batteries are made by LG in Korea. Unless they’ll building a US battery plant.

Now that the SCOTUS overruled the POTUS "emergency" tariffs on Friday, maybe we will get some of these here. Who knows.

He’s already reversed it with an executive order. Luckily it will only last 150 days, so maybe some imports this summer? I think it’s good for international countries to build in the US. Makes things cheaper. The instability is the problem. Markets and industries don’t like instability.
