Anti-Slip Rubber Pads solve phone sliding problem on R1T wireless charging pad

I cut a piece of car dashboard Anti-Slip Rubber Pad from amazon and put on the top of charging pad. Works great.

Does it still charge through it? Those are usually too thick to allow proper charging

The anti-slip pad only hold the lower part of the phone. The charging part of the phone is still directly above the original charging pad. I have tried and found that wireless charging won't work through the anti-slip pad.

My usage in one week showed that it is only a workable solution, far from perfect, and still need to adjust position after a quick turn etc.
