Just got my R1S 2 hours ago, 2023. Rolled off the assembly line recently. I'm not sure you'll see many 2022 unless in the shop.

I saw a post some where that said he got a R1T last month and it was a 2022.

I’m sure they have 2022s still left to deliver. I got my R1S 1/26 at the factory and it was a 2022. Was at the service center in Costa Mesa last week for a second key fob was walking around the lot and all of the vins I saw waiting on delivery were 2022.

They are delivering 2023 as well, not sure when all of the 2022 stock will be delivered, clearly not delivering FIFO, my R1S has a 10/22 build date.

Did you get a tour?
They originally wanted me to go to Brooklyn, but I don't do NY city.
They are opening a service center in Maryland later this month, so that might be OK.

Factory delivery was good. I did get a tour which was very good, they have cat walks that take you around several of the areas where you get great views, because you are elevated you can see other areas as well that the catwalks do not go to. They are expanding the catwalks to cover more areas and are going to offer public tours but the guide had no ETA for when that will start.

They have a deliver center in the back, it is indoors so when it is cold and snowy like it was the day I picked mine up you can still do a walk around to inspect the vehicle. I was not rushed and they offer to take you on a drive to get familiar with the vehicle. I would encourage doing a factory delivery if it is offered, was a good experience.

I had noted I was interested in a factory delivery, out of the blue I got a call on 1/23 saying I could get a factory delivery that week. Fortunately I’m retired so checked flights and hotels and scheduled the pickup for the morning of 1/26.
