I live in the area and drove by to see several vehicles - both customer and new inventory pending delivery - hit with hail damage from last nights huge storms (for others not in the area, it was golf ball to softball sized hail).
So PSA for anyone taking delivery soon and know your car was en route or already there: I would hope Rivian would contact new delivery owners to inform them, but given they were never going to tell us ours was damaged in transit until I went there and saw it myself, I’d give them 24 hours as a benefit of the doubt then call.
