Every time I set the AC to Auto, the front floor vents are off by default. Turn them on, but then next time I get in Auto is on but floor vents are off again. Any way to keep them on when Auto is on?

Not that I'm aware of. When you set it to auto the truck controls where it thinks air should go. If you want air to come from a certain place then you have to manually adjust the setting. It should still keep the set temperature it just will not be able to control vent and fan speed.

Most vehicles do this, running cold is going to use the upper vents, and heat the lower vents mainly/fully. Some more advanced systems will utilize all of them in different scenarios and the defrost vent(s) even as well. That logic doesn't seem to be in the Rivian yet as much.

It's being most efficient since cool air sinks and hot rises, but it is kinda nice at times to have a little cool air by feet/legs coming out - manual for now.

My R1T does the exact opposite. I keep the lower floor vents off, but each time I drive again, they are back on.

Mine too, started happening with recent update. It's annoying, have go turn it off manually every time
