Well… that’s what we _thought_ lane change _assist_ meant.

But that’s, apparently, lane change on _command_.

Just change the term to move the goal posts a bit.

By saying 'Assist' they made sure people maintain control of the steering and don't sell it so people would think it would 'Full Self Drive'

The new cameras are so much better than the old ones. It also looks like they have been repositioned to get a better view. it seems that my older R1S does not have such an expansive view. Mine is obviously a much lower quality resolution.

I agree, the cameras in mine are tilted down too much, resolution is poor and they are not compensated for darkness.

I believe it is only part of the Gen2 driver assist+ for now.

Nice! Next time maybe have a passenger get a better view of the road (for safety) and maybe see how it does with someone in blind spot (for safety testing, lol)

I’m devastated that it’s only for gen2s, I would pay sick money to be able to have that or even better driver assist like my Tesla has.
