Best configuration for fastest delivery?

Wanted to know what's the best configuration for the fastest delivery? If anyone here ordered in 2021-2022 and already received their Rivian, what is your configuration and what area you guys are from?

Best config is whatever is in the Rivian Shop… Still people with 2019 orders that don’t have a truck yet.

The basic rule is green or black interior, quad motor, power tonneau, and maybe no reinforced underbody. Wheels seem to come and go but somebody may know what’s more scarce.

Mine came fast (6/30) once I made the following choices:

Adventure Pkg
21" road wheels
El Cap granite
Black interior
Power Tonneau
Street under body

I've tried like 10 different combinations between RB, FG and Limestone exteriors, both BM and FE interiors, and 20" and 21" wheels. None of them have gotten me contacted by a guide. So it really is "are you feeling lucky, punk?"

Does anyone know if the underbody shield can be added later. I'd like to have it, but if it is a sticking point, I would forgo it to get the truck sooner.

I asked this exact question to my Shop Guide. She said no. It is added during production and they have no plans to enable retrofitting.

I’d modify that to say “without attempting to match them to orders”. Almost feels like they’re dedicating a few build cycles purely towards making R1 Shop models.

Good point.

I would only add that 21” wheels and power tonneau were choices I made after I was assigned a guide. They were compromises made in the cause of getting the truck sooner.

Out of curiosity, where are you located?

My two cents is don't live in a state that doesn't allow manufacturers to sell directly to a customer. I've seen early 2022 pre-order holders taking delivery for my config in other states. Every screen shot I see of the R1 Shop has it on their too.
