Bluetooth no longer working, greyed out. Hotspot won't connect either.

I've put this as a service request, but just wondering if anyone else has dealt with this?

Since the latest update, 35.0, my hotspot has stopped connecting. I can turn it off and on, but any device I try to connect says "unable to connect". I've tried with my R1S in multiple locations. I've also done a soft reset with no luck.

Today I went to use bluetooth audio and noticed my phone wasnt connected. It's still connected as a key, but won't connect for audio/calls. I went to re-pair my phone but the bluetooth option is greyed out and in the off position.

Hoping this is a quick fix?

Yes I did a soft reset.

That's weird. I have had my hotspot forget everything after an update but never BT. Does restarting your phone change anything?

Hard reset? May as well try since support will almost certainly tell you to do one when they respond to your ticket.

When I first got my R1S in 23 they told me to only do a hard reset while on the phone with service, is that still the case?

I thought that was true as well, but then I had a DCFC issue that required hard reset after each session and CS told me it wouldn't do any harm to do it on my own, even repeatedly. Outside of it indicating an issue that needs to be fixed it's not a big deal.

The thing to remember about a hard reset is to only do it once per hour at most. After a hard reset it takes certain systems a while to come back and you don't want to reset before they do. At least that's what I've been told.

There are several BT modules for the doors but the central entertainment has its own likely wifi BT and maybe cell on one board like laptops/tablets
