Camp Speaker started making a beeping sound

I own an R1T with a camp speaker. Today after lunch my never used camp speaker started making a short beep or warble. There is no warning sound or icon flashing; just every 30 seconds or so, it makes a beep/warble. When I got home, it kept beeping. I tried to use the control buttons with no result. Then I took the camp speaker out of the truck and put it in the corner of the garage. Still beeping an hour later.

Has anyone ever had this problem? How can I turn this off other than putting it in a bucket of water?
