My Man!!!Am I the only one who’s figured this out? Getting in and out of my garage requires tight three-point turns, precise alignments, and close tolerances. Doing this with just the accelerator is scary and dangerous. I simply lightly press both pedals simultaneously and the truck moves like an ICE with an automatic transmission. You control creep with brake pedal pressure. Also great for connecting trailers.
I tried your power braking method yesterday when connecting our boat trailer and it worked perfectly!! I initially got very close, but then had a maybe one inch to go to get the trailer connector over the ball on the truck. Usually that small distance is very difficult manage with the truck engaging Hold every time you let up on the accelerator even a bit. But, using the power brake method you describe above, it was actually easy to backup just an inch or even less.
Big thanks to @OUTAGAS, his method of fine backup control should go in a FAQ doc
