Crazy Rattle from Front Passenger Seat when not occupied.

Hello All, I have a service appointment but was curious if anyone has experienced this. When the front passenger seat is not occupied it has a crazy rattle that goes away once someone is sitting there. When someone is sitting there the other two rattles sound like they are coming from the front part of the dashboard and drivers passenger door. As a previous gen 1 owner I found the service center really good at identifying rattles and correcting them. When I sold my R1t it was perfect.

I had a rattle that I thought was from the passenger side door near the speaker. Are you sure it’s from the seat? Sometimes when a passenger was in my seat, it deadened the sound a bit. Either way the service center was amazing at finding and correcting these sounds.

I definitely think it’s from the seat. When a passenger sits there even they hear nothing. That would be heeed if from the door panel

1000% sure it’s the seat.

I just fixed this in my R1T. I followed this video.

I sprayed white lithium grease on the pad shown in the video and it cured the rattle.
I had a dashboard and rear passenger door rattle that were fixed by the SC. They said there are screws into plastic that come loose after the vehicle heats up and cools down from sitting in the sun.
