Demo Drive Coming Up - Advice/Suggestions?

Hi all, I did a quick ~30 demo drive on the R1S Dual last weekend, and am now doing an overnight demo drive at the end of this week. Do you have any advice or suggestions for things I should look for, try out, play with, etc.?

Categories might include the myriad on-screen options, different drive modes, how it fits in my driveway, ADAS features, questions for the sales staff, tips for maximizing purchasing power with current incentives, etc.

I of course I don't know what I don't know, so your advice is very much appreciated. I expect this guidance can help affect which model/specs/add-ons I go with (or who knows, if Rivian is even right for me!). Rivian is currently offering $1,000 if a deposit for purchase is made on the same day as a demo, so I'm hoping this event will be my final chance to get my mind straight. Thanks so much!

Entry and exit in the R1S. It’s pretty high for shorter people even in kneel and we got caught up in the excitement and didnt think about it. Ended up getting sliders with steps.

Rivian Owner Guides are public. Know the operating procedures ahead so you don’t waste time going over basics. Then flip through the rest. Also look on YouTube for complete UI walkthroughs. Primary thing is to keep an open mind. I’ve seen many thoughtless complaints and hot takes saying it doesn’t feel like their current sedan or Tesla or whatever. Well, of course it doesn’t. It’s a different car with different physical attributes and dynamics, that is still within limits of what is possible according to laws of physics and gravity. More productive to compare to a vehicle of similar size and weight—you won't find many that drives as good or is as capable on- and off-pavement.

We had all but pushed the button on the order for our R1T, and the test drive cinched it. Take your time. We had our very patient Rivian associate with us for several hours during and after the test drive. Given it was the Boylston Rivian center in Backbay Boston, they had several vehicles on display, and we got to compare everything and ask even more. Came home and sent in our order!
