I use this and I make my dogs jump up there. The GSD makes it no problem and the Half shepherd half husky is small and not as good of a jumper but she's really light at 50 lbs so easy enough to just pick her up and put her in.

That one is my wife's she is actually the better behaved one of the two. Mine, the big one, will open up cabinet doors where we have food and help himself. We have child locks on every food storage cabinet in our kitchen. Not for our son, he's a teenager, but for my dog.

I had to do that with a Ridgeback we had years ago. He taught himself how to open the fridge too.

If he does, they also make a child lock for that, which makes a simple task like opening the fridge a 2 handed job from that point forward?

Why not then, going into the pantry and the garbage can already are 2 handed jobs now.

Pepper loves the Rivian, hammocks happily in the back seat (Orvis hammock with cheapo Amazon door protectors). She does however like to drool all over the rear screen - I got nervous so I put plugs in the USB ports so they don’t fill with drool ?
