For the love of all that is Holy, can we kick the nanny out (can't have a passenger, anyway) during happy time at the drag strip? Some petrol-puking AMG something or other almost came around me while I was on 110 mph cruise control for the last 320'. Just 8 more mph would be sufficient. Or, have it max out at whatever speed it gets to in 1325'. Use the GPS to only allow this on the track.
And, why not pop up a performance timer whenever a launch is initiated? Record it to the dvr thingy, too.
I love my quick truck. I loath my nanny at the track!

I would absolutely love this option. Way too many times that I have lost at the "drag strip" due to being limited to 110mph. It has made me look lame against a Porsche Taycan Turbo S and Lamborghini in the past.

I'm planning on taking my R1T to the track with the bigger tires (20 AT vs my stock 22). If Rivian isn't limiting based off GPS speed, should be able to hit 114 mph instead of 110. A lot more weight though, so will be interesting to see if it happens. Hopefully no-one at the track is checking my tire's speed rating though.

I second this, you should have a track mode that allows it to exceed the speed on a track for 1/3 mile distance just so it doesn't top out at the 1/4. Let it go as fast as it can in that straight line so you can really shine. Such a fast truck and it would be much better if it didn't top out.

100% would love about 130mph limit for this reason (just for head room / air strip events, half mile things like that) I wonder if it's tire limited (I have not even looked at the speed rating of the tires)

Tires are 130mph rated, should be a no brainer to add this track mode.

As for the AMG something or other, I plan to see which is faster: a restricted truck, or my unrestricted wagon soon
