Editing New Rivian Widget

Looks like there was an update on the app that allows for a smaller Rivian widget on your phone’s Home Screen. It’s awesome that it takes up so much less space, but I cannot for the life of me figure out how to edit the controls. Would much prefer the liftgate be one of the 4 options as opposed to the frunk.

Yours shows differently because the landscape mode provides more space. Also, you have an R1T and it will not have a lift gate option. The OP has an R1S.

That’s what mine looks like too, despite mine being an Apple (shockingly)
I gotta say I’m glad I saw this thread! This will be the first time since I think my 3G that I’ve used a widget! That was back when you had to put your own widget on the Lock Screen if you wanted a camera or flashlight quick button.
I have my unlock set to driver’s, so it’ll shave precious seconds off me getting the doors unlocked for my wife! ? No more berating or beating…at least due to slow unlocking!

Mine looked like that on my iPhone as well until I ran the update on the app this morning. Still haven’t sorted out if I can switch it from frunk to liftgate

There is no customization to any of the widgets currently. They are talking about adding that ability in the future.

That wasn't the point of the OP though. They want to be able to choose which functions are on the widget.

You cannot customize content of widgets. There are now 3 widgets to choose from. Two in half-width square format and one full width. I ended up sticking to the full width since it contains more information. I also have it in a secondary Home screen to avoid accidental interaction.

Yes, exactly why I said exactly that a few posts earlier

Makes sense for the smaller widget to have the frunk because both the truck and SUV have that. If they switched to the trunk then people would moan about not having the frunk. No pleasing some people.

I never even took that into consideration. Great point.

Much prefer not having liftgate for one of them. An accidental press when it’s in my garage would cause some damage. Especially when you have toddlers grabbing your phone all the time.
