nNah, that’s just a protective cover used during assembly to prevent damage to body panels. You’ll see them on many auto factory shots.

That's a protective cover over the panel while it's being assembled.

Someone on Redit mention that there was a press event yesterday. I hope it was for the launch of the gen2 quad and that we see something in the next few days. clearly they had no issue with letting OOS post photos of the quad.
