I had asked general customer support if my SC had a Gen2 demo available. They forwarded my question to the SC which then sent me a text. That same number has been used for all my communications with the SC, for demo and delivery.

I will say that it's been a little frustrating and disappointing at times not having direct phone access to a real local person. It's always through this text line. When I call the number, it seems to route me to the generic 888-RIVIAN1 number.

You can try an online chat with support and ask for your local SC text number.

The folks at respective service centers may not be as knowledgeable or forthcoming as people on this thread.Yesterday, I was informed by a test drive rep in the San Jose center (SF Bay Area region) that none of the service centers have gen 2 vehicles. I didn’t challenge this person though I knew that wasn’t the case. I was also curious if any service center is going to get the Ascend (Tri version) soon as Rivian will likely start producing that model soon?

To be fair, none of the Bay Area SC currently have Gen2 available. Maybe that’s what he meant?

They should arrive soon or may be there already. They don’t want to commit on a date until they prep and register the vehicle.

I think we are more likely to see Gen2 R1T start rolling off the line before any Tri motors.
