First public appearance of 2nd Generation R1S!

We got a little surprise at an event last night at the Denver Spaces - the NEW GEN 2 R1S. I believe it is the first time the vehicle has been open for the public to peruse. So, we did! I did a quick vid of some of what I noticed has changed from the Gen 1. Not a technical vid, but I feel like the little things are what matters more on a day-to-day... like that door button!

On the door latch/pull handles (inside)..the original ones were pretty expensive is my guess. So replaced with a less expensive button. The pull on the front doors is the emergency handle now. On the rear door, the emergency handle is under the rearward side of the door armrest.

Hey Scott - love what you do with your channel. Did you get an invite to the reveal? If anyone should get a chance to go to those events, it's absolutely you, based on all of the good stuff you are creating and the visibility you are bringing to the brand.

We didn't have the same luck yesterday at any of the SoCal spaces.
They said that the car was in the delivery truck coming from Seattle.

Didn't catch that they had added heated side view mirrors. Doesn't impact those of us in the south, but probably a really nice convenience add for those in colder climates!

I thought we already had them and they just came on with the rear defrost. If not, guess I have never really needed them.

Went to the soft opening of the Austin space today, no such luck. They had a Gen 1 R1S & R1T (dual) skateboard. Did get to see the new ‘22 Aero wheels sans cover, and panel painted in the new Storm Blue. They hoped to have some Gen 2 vehicles in the next week.

I thought we already had them and they just came on with the rear defrost. If not, guess I have never really needed them.

Same with me...I thought we had them....I guess if not I went thru two winters and didn't miss them if we dont...

They made some good improvements. Love the door button and the cameras being activated when you hit your directional.
