Yes aerodynamic and speed makes all the difference. I've done several trips now. Greater LA traffic just makes sense to avoid speed. Might hit 70 on a down hill but really just looking to go the speed limit or less. 55mph is the towing speed limit here but that's kind of agonizing so I pretty much go with right lane speeds. The steep grades can over tax the Regen while towing if they are long enough.
