**FIXED*** camp speaker nothing but loud static - help! I can't turn it off!!

Hello and help!!
I got in my vehicle today and there was this really loud noise...
it reminded me of when the battery is cooling down but that wasn't it - thought maybe I had a portable vacuum in the front trunk... nope...

it's the camp speaker - really loud static - I cant get it to turn off... I can play my iPhone through the blue tooth through the speaker but the static is really loud and I can't figure out how to make it stop.... help?

**** after trying for what seemed like forever, I was able to get the off button to work and the radio went silent. Turned it back on and now everything seems to work fine??
If anyone has any suggestions why this would have happened or if it has happened to you I would love to know.

Thanks - that was the second thing I tried and it made all of the connection beeps but the static continued.
However, when Initially pressed the power button there was no response - after trying several different things I went back and held the power button down for about 30 seconds and it finally shut down.
