FOB Unlock Doesn't always work - No LED Light

I like my FOB for unlocking the car. I had to set up work as my home location so the R1S doesn't keep unlocking during the day.

Its not all the time, maybe 20% where I click the button to unlock and no LED lights up, I click it again and still no LED. I then click LOCK it lights up and the car locks, I then click unlock and the LED lights up and unlocked the car. I've replace the battery a few times already, and even made sure the contact was clean in the FOB. Not sure what else to try, Oh I have 2 FOBs and they both do the same thing. Just wondering if others have seen this?

I've seen the same thing recently. If I push the button twice in quick succession it's always worked well. Let me know if that helps you too?

I never use the fob and have no ideas on that. I just use the phone, and also have home unlock turned off. I set up a triple-back-tap gesture to unlock it, which is perfectly reliable, and easy/quick. So just another idea.

I’ve had similar issues. Seems to depend on whether the vehicle is “awake”. Very inconsistent.

I've tried that and it doesn't always work. Its the same as if I wanted to open the back tailgate. I double tap the open tailgate button and it doesn't always open. If I click lock first, then unlock (either button) it work 100% of the time

That is a setting on all iPhones. (And there are a ton of hidden gesture/features like that which you can use for other functions.). I know that Androids can do similar things but don't have any further info on it.

In this case, I use it to run a shortcut, and the shortcut contains an action to unlock, start climate, and set a five minute timer. So I don't forget and just leave it unlocked. You have to create a shortcut with at least the Rivian unlock at minimum but it can include more.

When I triple tap the back of the phone, the island shows that it's working, and it does all the actions, then the island shows a countdown on my timer.
