For my R1T, I think I prefer 2025.06 ride feel/suspension over 2025.10

Perhaps I’m in the minority, but I think I liked the ride feel/suspension with 2025.06 than with 2025.10. For my Gen 1 R1T.

At low speeds on pavement:

2025.10 ride now feels like I’m riding “closer to the ground.” What I mean is that I feel more of the road vibration, and almost like I’m riding on my bump stops.

2025.06 ride felt more like being on air, more separation between road impurities and cabin.

Anyone else feel the same?

No!

After 2 years of ownership from initial software stack. I've genuinely only noticed suspension differentiation when moderate was added.

When driving in Central New Jersey which has very decent roads, I use suspension setting of moderate 100% of my driving time in all purpose mode with standard ride height.

When driving in New York City I use suspension setting of soft, all purpose mode with ride height of high.

New York City actual driving speed less than posted 25MPH, speed cameras at every 2nd stop light. Red light cameras at every 2nd stop light. Potholes in unavoidable locations. Sewer manhole covers in unavoidable locations.

Soft suspension setting remove jarring road incidents from being felt inside cabin when driving in New York City.

What does this have to do with 2025.10 v 2025.06? Both soft and moderate ride feels are available in both software versions

Soft setting feels the same to me in all the software versions and allow me to ride over road imperfections without being shaken up inside the cabin by the harshness on any potholes, sewer manhole covers, etc.

I do off roading events with the North East Rivian Club and soft setting feels good off-roading and soft setting still feels good to me after this recent update when driving within City limits.

After each software update I always do a hard reset then a soft reset.

Finally, I lock vehicle and let it sleep. I mention these steps just in case it help you or someone else experiencing similar issues.

Sorry I have no idea what you're talking about. I feel significantly less vibrations now and going over speed bumps in parking lots feels like they're not even there.

I will say It is more floaty on the road, less sporty, but I'm fine with that in soft, I just may switch to moderate a little more now. If anything I feel like they raised the suspension.

I have to disagree with this thread as well. The current suspension tuning is superior to the previous tuning for low-speed bumps and potholes. In sport, it's still similar, but in AP, it's Range Rover level smooth now.

I think I understand what you mean, but I prefer .10. The older suspension tuning only felt like there was “more air” because it was so bouncy. Now it feels more planted. With less bouncing, maybe the road vibrations are more prominent as there’s less to distract from them.

I agree with DuoRivians' take. For me, my Gen 2 R1T, the ride at slower speeds over cracks and small bumps in the road is more harsh. Highway speeds seem fine, but around town driving isn't as good as before. I tried for full truck reset/reboot. but did not see any significant improvements.

Low speed (parking lot speeds) is better on this update.

30-40mph is awful now. This car jumps sideways at any minor road undulation, completely unsettling the car. Specific spots even on our drive into the neighborhood exhibit this behavior.

As crazy as this sounds, my ride has gotten ever so slightly worse. I did the drive around a bit in off-road -highest setting then sport low and such.. maybe i have to do it again. I haven't tried the reboots suggested above but i will go try that.

I concur with this sentiment. My wife and I were actually talking about just this thing. It also feels like this is errantly making the rear motor of my dual kick in more abruptly as well when it happens, which is particularly disturbing.

At low speeds it's fine. (e.g. parking lot. 10 mph) Everything at normal travel speeds, especially over broken highway joins and whatnot is actually worse.

Gen 1 R1T Dual. (it's probably worth noting this as generations and models likely behave differently)

I would say that on .10, the feedback you can feel is much better but the feedback you can hear is worse. There is a lot more noise going over the same bumps and whatnot, but I don't feel them now.

Strange reading through this thread. I mainly drive in all-purpose, standard height, moderate in my G1 R1S and after this update the normal driving I see no difference at all in the ride. I‘ve been very happy with how it rides, especially since I put the Michelin Defender LTX M/S2 tires on.

As for the update, the entry ramp to the health club has all been crazy harsh, to the point I always tried to hit the entry straight on. After this update it is night and day driving into that parking lot, so much better.
