Agreed, crossover is not for me either.Yet another fastback crossover design. I'm sure it will be all the rage but that doesn't work for me. Aside from being electric and riding on an amazing platform that should be a blast to drive, the thing I love the most about the R1S is that it is truly a box on wheels. No sloped rear glass lopping off valuable cargo space.
I feel the same way.. The Rivian is my top pick but it's just outside of my comfortable price range.. so I feel torn. I may stay with normal cars until the used Rivians are affordable or the right EV comes out at the right price.As much as I love the Rivian design, I'm having a hard time justifying spending 50% more for a R1S when the Mach-E would suit my needs just fine. I won't make a final decision until the full specs and price list are available for both, but right now I think I'd lean towards the Ford.
