I wonder what this means for VtoH? I have not found anything saying the Tesla format will support that.

Now that Tesla, Ford, GM, and Aptera are using the NACS port I wonder what Volvo/Polestar and Hyundai/Kia will do?

To my knowledge neither of those two companies are all that attached to any CCS based charging network.

VW/Porsche/Audi have significant investments in CCS.

Rivian has significant investments in CCS with their Rivian Adventure network. They'd have to either switch plugs or have their own version of the Magicdock.

It's a pretty big selling point of the Ford Lighting so I'm curious about what the answer is.

Since the ONLY change on GM and Ford vehicles is the connector, and the AC/DC switching, otherwise the car is identical, they are NOT going to be using the Tesla CAN bus based communication with the Superchargers, and the Tesla Destination Chargers already speak the same language as J1772 plugs. Seems like if you wanna use V2x you just get a Tesla CCS adapter and plug in your house to it. They're like $160 online or Tesla sells them for $175

Seriously, it's like these people never filled a gas tank in their lives.

If CCS is so hard to use, maybe we need to be like NJ and Oregon and require that an employee of a charging station be the one who plugs us in.
I just saw this in another thread:

>>>
My 70 something year old mother can handle supercharger cables and NACS handles just fine. CCS, though, she cannot lift their weight, and most importantly cannot push the release button and pull at the same time, even with two hands. CCS and most of the cables it is paired with is a disaster for accessibility.

I read the suggestion a few pages back that we hire people to stand at each of the CCS stations and help people plug them in (like they do at NJ/Oregon gas stations), is that still a good idea or with GM and the dominos yet to fall are we assuming the future now looks bright for those with accessibility challenges.
