Garage door opener icon missing from driver's screen after update.

The ability to use the button and scroll wheel on the steering wheel and the icon for that has disappeared from my driver's screen after the last update. Anyone else?

This happened to me couple of times, and quick reset (left and right thumb pads) didn't work for me. Try toggling off/on the location setting in the Garage menu first. If it doesn't help, remove the location mode first, then re-enable it at your house. That last workaround seemed to work for me.

Mine stopped working a few days before I got the latest firmware update. I'm wondering if the map data changes independently of the firmware updates? if so, I think a map update caused my house coordinate to move to the point where it no longer appears I'm at home when I'm close to my garage doors.

Edit: Clearing the garage’s location-based data and then setting it again fixed my problem

Mine disappeared after the update, I just went into the setting turned of the location, turned it back on and drove around the block, when I got home it popped up again.

It's been happening to a lot of us after the update. An infotainment reboot and toggling the location based settings on and off seems to fix it.

You do not have to reset the infotainment or location, just toggle the one-touch prompt under the garage menu and it will show back up

This didn't work when it happened to me last week. I had to remove and re-add my home location, then it worked properly again and no issues since.

I thought mine was fixed. Now it works outside the garage but not inside.

I toggled the on/off slider for allowing the wheel shortcut (sorry, forgot the actual verbiage) to appear. This has happened to me across the last two updates, and both times, this approach worked.

+4 toggling each opener off and back on resets the steering wheel remote button activation.

Anyone still having issues with garage door icon not showing up in driver display? Just picked up my rig from Burbank yesterday - $1600 later (2 new tires) and techs were annoying and wanted all kinds of information about when, where how the icon isn't spring up. Annoying AF but whatever. Thinking about trying a hard reboot today. I live in the hills and cell reception is miserable.
