This was my first car. A 1970 Ford Galaxie 500 that I bought from our elderly neighbor for $500 after working every day after school and during the summer. It was the size of a battleship and used leaded gasoline but I could fit at least 6 people in there. Even though it was 1991 when it became mine I still was so happy to have it. It represented hard work and freedom to me. Give that kid a bike and let her figure it out.

That's what I said. Surely it can't be a real interaction. I mean ...my first car was a hand-me-down Geo Prizm when I went off to college. Getting/having *any* car was a BFD at that point. Turning your nose up at a Model S is just unfathomable.
