Halloween Update Issues: my Rivian won't home charge now

I used the Halloween update via the Rivain App last night. Clever idea - Unfortunately, my truck wont charge now. AT ALL. My in-wall charger that has been perfect for two years, until last night. I went through all the necessary steps, checked breakers, etc. No issues there. I attempted to charge via the smaller charger that comes with the truck. That worked, for 5 minutes.

I have been on hold with Rivian for AN HOUR this morning. SO ANNOYING.

Coincidence this all happened right after sitting in the car with my son and using all the Halloween themes?

Gen1 or Gen2? I switched my lock sound to the owl and interior lights to red, but not touching the costumes on my Gen1. No way I need to create problems for 1 minute of amusement.

They really need to work on their update QC, or better yet just hold off on extensive holiday updates like this one until they have things more dialed in. The fact that they've expended so many resources on this and it's clean up is ridiculous, when Apple Music is so bug ridden it's basically unusable - even when it is working the volume changes drive me nuts.

Did you try turning the costume on, then off within the app. The bug seems to occur when people turn on the costume within the app and then step on the brake to turn on the vehicle to get going. Somehow the costume is still active despite the displays.

Issue resolved with Rivian Support!

Truck had to be put ot sleep and reset, but its all good!

What was the procedure performed for this? Was it just another hard reset? If so, why didn’t any of the other attempts resolve the issue?

I never watched Hasselhoff, I didn't even do the Dukes of Hazard. I did use a Sharp Wizzard 512 PDA for a couple years, but I do not play video games with my R1T. This is likely because I did not use any Texas Instruments in school, I was busy counting my fingers in woodshop. My memory isn't good enough to remember" the Future"
The extracurricular activity has never been my thing, for that matter, I have never launched my Quad R1t, and when I had a couple Porsche 911 S, I did not launch them either. I was also called "Sissy Pants" on the school yard, but my R1T charged last night, and I am lucky and have very little issues with my Operating System.

Fair points! However, I do think it’s possible to enjoy these fun things and also not break them. I take care of my stuff but I also bought my T to enjoy it, and that can look different to everyone. I enjoy every highway on-ramp and will find a place to launch my friends and family any time they ask about it.

Good to hear, I just don't trust the IT of things. I'm still mad at the WWW IT for not continuing the Palm program with the OCR and the pen. As well I feel so Beta, when I'm tested on.
