Doesn’t the Manual say NOT to do this?

Yes. You can very easily kill your 12V by doing too many hard resets in rapid succession. The manual explicitly says to wait at least an hour or more.

What was the procedure performed for this? Was it just another hard reset? If so, why didn’t any of the other attempts resolve the issue?

I agree here--can you share what steps they took to put the truck to sleep before reset?
